1st African Heritage Month Gala held Saturday February 2, 2008 The WPYC receives the "Champion of Development" Award from The Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority. The WPYC Executive Director Chester Borden receives the award from CBCEDA Eileen Lannon Oldford Cheif Exective Officer.
 
WPYC celebrating our 15th anniversity (1994-2009)
 
We received the Family Friendly Business Award from the Family Service of Eastern Nova Scotia. It was presented to WPYC (Wayne Fifield) on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 by the Sydney & Area Chamber of Commerce at the 20th anniversary (EBA) Celebrating Excellence in Business.
